Q.

Our training department has three internal training consultants/trainers who design and deliver programs and who will be using the templates and spreadsheets. How many licenses do we need to purchase?

A.

Your organization will need to purchase three licenses.

Q.

In addition to trainers, our organization employs an administrator who organizes schedules, sets up training rooms, prints certificates and so on. Do we need to purchase a license for this administrator?

A.

You will need to purchase a license for each administrator that will be using forms and templates supplied in the pack.

Q.

I have purchased a single user license. On how many computers may I install the software?

A.

A single user license permits you to install the software on as many standalone computers as you require, on the condition that the software is not used by people other than training program participants entering data into workbooks and forms. You may, for example, install the software additionally on your laptop computer and on your home computer.

Q.

Can I install the software on a computer network?

A.

Modified and unmodified spreadsheet workbooks and document templates may be posted on a network on the condition that access to these files is restricted to valid license holders and training program participants entering data into workbooks and forms.

Q.

Who do you regard as training program participants eligible to use the workbooks and forms?

A.

Training program participants are people attending specific training programs conducted by or for the licensed organization. Typically, they will complete one or more of the following forms: training and development plan, registration form, attendance form, feedback form. You do not need to purchase additional licenses for such participants.

Q.

Our senior trainer will be modifying the forms to suit our organization and programs. The modified forms will then be distributed to other trainers in our organization, who will then use them in designing and conducting their own training programs. How many licenses do we need?

A.

As the senior trainer will be modifying the forms, one license will be required for them. In addition, each trainer using the forms will also require a license. Training program participants completing the forms do not require additional licenses.

Q.

I have left my current organization. Can I take the Training Management Template Pack with me and install it on my new employer’s computer?

A.

No. Your new organization will need to purchase the requisite number of licenses.

Q.

I plan on managing training programs for five business units within my company. How many licenses do I need to buy?

A.

If you are the only person managing or administering training programs, your company will require a single user license. If other people will also be modifying and administering the workbooks and forms, your company will need to purchase an additional license for each of these people.

Q.

I have purchased one license. How many copies of the forms and spreadsheets can I print or copy?

A.

You may print, copy and use an unlimited number of forms and spreadsheets on the condition that the forms and spreadsheets are used for their intended purpose and the people using the forms and spreadsheets are training program participants receiving them from you.

Q.

My organization has purchased three licenses. How many copies of the Employee Performance Diagnostic Tool can we print or copy?

A.

Each valid license holder may print one copy for the purpose of diagnosing employee performance gaps as part of the training projects in which they are directly involved. In addition, one copy may be printed for each manager serviced by a valid license holder on the condition that the tool is used for the purpose intended and not distributed in contravention of the terms of the license.

I am a training consultant and want to use the Training Management Template Pack to introduce and implement a training administration system in a client organization until the organization has the capability to manage training programs independently.

A.

Your client organization will need to purchase the requisite number of licenses directly from Business Performance Pty Ltd. Unauthorized third parties, including unauthorized external consultants and contractors, are prohibited from selling, reselling, licensing, renting, leasing or lending the Training Management Template Pack. Third parties are free to, and actively encouraged to, distribute the free User Guide to help close a contract. Following this, the client organization will need to purchase the Training Management Template Pack directly from us.

Q.

I want to sell the Training Management Template Pack to a customer, but play no role in its implementation and management.

A.

The license expressly prohibits onselling by unauthorized third parties. Customers and client organizations are required to purchase the Training Management Template Pack directly from Business Performance Pty Ltd. You are free to distribute the free User Guide to whomever you wish. You are prohibited from receiving any kind of payment for such distribution.
